Source coverage & limitations
  • The COCHILCO inventory PDF and FRED CSV were restored from their official URLs and matched the recorded SHA-256 values. The re-fetched UN Comtrade response preserved the reported values but not the original response hash, so the trade item remains excluded pending revision reconciliation.
  • China power-market and automobile-distribution indicators are broad activity proxies, not measured copper consumption.
  • The two Indonesian smelting facts come from one current operator page and do not establish current utilization or a completed 2026 ramp-up.
